I had a very exciting week as far as gaming goes, I got a lot of progress done and got to try some new things.
What did I paint?
I got a lot of progress on the AWI project this week. I painted Tarleton’s Dragoons, and the 1st Guards Regiment, and rebased the 23rd, lights, and jaegers. All the painted figures got based, and work started on the 2nd Guards, 33rd Foot, and Grenadiers.
What did I play?
I played 3 games this week, and all were excellent. The first was a game of To The Strongest, with a fantasy twist. Though I was initially skeptical of the grid system, it ended up being an excellent game. The forces of darkness prevailed.
The other 2 games were again Schwerpunkt playtests, and after some rules and scenario modifications, they are even better. We played Third Kharkov again, and Prokhorovka, both games were very close, but ended up as Soviet victories.
