I cranked through a lot of minis this week, and am starting to look towards some new projects. I’m hoping ya’ll are enjoying following my progress each week.
What have I been Painting?
Firstly I flocked and completed all of the 6mm American infantry I’ve been painting. They came together quickly and I’m happy with the results.
After that, I painted and based almost 100 10mm AWI militia figures. Honestly, the uniforms are kind of dull and weren’t a ton of fun to paint, but I cranked through them anyway, and even added a festive surprise!!
Next on the list are the continentals, and once those are done, I will have all I need for the Guilford Courthouse scenario for the Live Free or Die rules. After I paint a few more odd regiments, I’ll be able to do all of the Southern Campaign battles.
What have I been Playing?
This week I played yet another playtest of Schwerpunkt! It was a great game and the players had some good thoughts, if you’d like to playtest Shwerpunkt email the author at [email protected]. It’s a ton of fun, and I totally recommend.
The scenario we played was Prokhorovka, the alleged ‘largest tank battle in history’, it was a lot of fun. The game was close although the Germans ended up not being able to punch through soviet lines, due to some skillful Soviet moves and devastating air support.
