A quick Hobby Update coming out of Super Bowl weekend, because something much more important than the big game is coming up, the Williamsburg Muster! It is our biggest local convention here in Virginia, and it’s happening next weekend.

What Have I been Painting?
Below are the 2 Tercios for my 6mm Thirty Years War project I finished this week, and I’m really hoping these are the last I need. Not that I don’t enjoy painting them, I do I just want to move on to painting the smaller protestant units.
Below and to the left are all 9 of my tercios, which amounts to almost 800 miniatures, and represents about 27,000 men. To the right is my 6 weeks in on my TYW project, 9 tercios, 6 gun and baggage bases, and 21 bases of cavalry. There’s more cavalry about to be primed on my bench now!
What Have I been Playing?
I played a fun Soviet-Afghan war game, with a set of homebrew rules. The Russian had to attack and clear a village but it was held by my glorious Jihadist. The type 63 MLRS under my command did most of the heavy lifting causing casualties on the Russians, but overall I had a great time.
